Dear America, This is an Election – not E-HARMONY.COM!

In Election 2008, Humor, War and Politics, Wordpress Political Blogs on October 4, 2008 at 10:50 AM

This makes me sick as I hear that men all over the country are pleasuring themselves every time Palin comes on the screen. I keep hearing that American lesbians are voting for her after they lost the other vagina Hillary. Wal-mart stretch pants, soccer, and hockey moms will now have someone to relate to and will vote for Palin.

In the last election, some voted for Bush because they wanted to have a beer with him. Now, they either want to pork Sarah Palin, or just feel that she’s so reeeeeeeeeeeeal and relateable because she’s so reeeeeeeeeeeeeal.

Are we looking for friends or cheap dates in the sack or a president/vp that will run the country RESPONSIBLY with your well-being in THEIR hands?

There’s E-Harmony.com, Match.com, the Christian Virgin Singles Network, and others out there designed for finding “relataebles”, reeeeeeeeeal people, beer buddies, friends with benefits, marriage partners both heterosexual and homosexual and trannies.

Dearest America, this is a PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION*NOT* E-Harmony.Com or American Idol.

Craig Ferguson said it best here.

And he’s got it right. If you don’t want your children being made fun of for having two babies out of wedlock, don’t display them on to our TV screens!!!! Decent Americans want to see the candidates and hear about their issues both past and present. There is nothing more manipulative and irrelevant to see the candidates children flood the stage after a political event. And what’s even worse is when I hear some of my neo-con compatriots speak of how “perfect” Palin’s family is and how they all “get along so well” and the “most perfect relationship everrrrr”. Yes, I have heard this all too many times. How the hell do we define one’s intimate relationships based on a few appearances in Hollywood after political campaigns?

Americans, please vote. But for for the ISSUES not the personality!

  1. Exactly! All the more reason to vote for McCain rather than a very handsome fellow that makes female reporters lose all sense of propriety.

Just a note – the election is between McCain and Obama – not Obama/Palin.

Asking folks to reject the cult of personality and vote for the most experienced is a losing proposition for Obama.

  2. I meant that toward all candidates, but I can’t possibly write a post without a smear against Palin. :o However, I do think personality and looks are being awarded to Palin by the conservatives in the same way the libs like Obama’s personality and looks. I see it as an equal.

  3. Really – an equal? When Barack gets the loving adoration of the media at every turn, a free pass on his past, and Palin gets grilled on everything in her past, including allegations that Trig is not her son? That’s a strange kind of equality. The media has invested a ton of time being sure we don’t look TOO closely at their favorite son, Obama – while doing everything possible to destroy Palin politically and personally. In the end, I think, a dangerous strategy.

  4. MSNBC will focus on crunching the right while Fox news will focus on crunching the left. CNN, in my opinion, has commentators crunching both sides.

I have never heard anyone saying they’re voting for Obama because he’s handsome, and I’ve never heard anybody even mention his looks either.

Trig cannot possibly be her son unless Palin has magical powers. Her water “broke”, and she took a flight where she had to change planes which took 8 hours so that she could give birth in Alaska? Any woman who has had a baby would know something like that isn’t humanly possible. And it is curious for me that she never looked pregnant. So, this would be her kid making two mistakes in a row. We all make mistakes, but Palin doesn’t exactly make the poster child of “abstinence”. It is very embarrassing. But it has nothing to do with how she will lead the country, of course. And I personally don’t have a problem with letting that pass. But it makes for some good ridicule as there are so many right wing extremists found to be hypocrites later on.

I was going to make a post about this, but as far as Katie Couric’s interview is concerned, Katie didn’t do anything wrong. Palin did. Palin failed to answered all of the questions. Even Bush would have done MUCH better than that. This too was embarrassing for Palin to such a degree that even the McCain campaign mentioned that her interview was a disaster. And another conservative said that she should step down. This is also why it took so long to get Palin interviewed.

Obama and Ayers? Why were the charges dropped on Ayers? Keep in mind, that Obama’s past is clean and clear regarding terrorist activities. We must judge him – not his acquaintances or even friends. People are just trying to make associations with him and others and it is weird for me. Whereas Palin is doing so many odd things by herself and she too has an association with a witch doctor.

Pastor Wright? So what. Nobody has ever heard the conversations between the two of them or how intimate they were. Yes, he sat in the church for 20 years, but that is still irrelevant for me as Obama’s personal past does not dictate a hatred for whites or Americans. If anything, Obama was and is frustrated with how things have been going. And rightfully so, in my opinion.

I think most people honestly doubt that Obama is going to put America in harms way. Obama is not going to blow us up either. It has been proven time and time again, that he is not a Muslim – nor is he a terrorist.

There are people who want to vote for both Obama and Palin because they “like” them. So there are superficial people who set aside the needs of the country for their own selfish needs because they want someone to relate to. That is going to happen in every election.

So, I don’t think Obama is getting a free pass. He is mercilessly bashed for all of his so called BFF connections. I wouldn’t know about it if it weren’t for the media.

Factcheck.org is the best place to go as they will show how every one on BOTH sides are guilty of lying. Politofact.com is a similar site. Both of these sites will check what these people are saying and then correct them.

  5. Ah, so in other words – you buy into a Palin conspiracy theory about Trig, but are perfectly comfortable overlooking all of the (rather noisy) skeletons in Obamas closet.

The fact that you’ve never heard anyone oooh and ahhh over Obamas looks means you haven’t been listening very hard.

  6. Well, it is just not my experience. I’m sure some think he’s a hottie and are voting for him based on that. As far as skeletons in the closet, I am having trouble finding what Obama did wrong. Honestly.

Is this a conspiracy theory? If it is proven to be one for sure, I will back down.

  7. Well, it’s a conspiracy theory made obsolete by the daughter’s current pregnancy – unless that’s a conspiracy as well. I guess we need to bring up the old Obama’s a secret muslim who doesn’t have a valid US birth certificate theory to counter. Smears are smears, no matter what the party or candidate.

Some people think that Obama’s close association with Ayers is troubling. Even more so since Obama refuses to address or distance himself from that association. The alleged point of this blog is to look at anti-Americanism – and Ayers is about as anti-American as you can get in my (and many other voter’s) estimation.

Ayers, Rezco, Freddie and Fannie, stance on the war (ever changing) – there are lots of reasons to have concerns about Obama as president FOR SOME PEOPLE. You don’t share those concerns – fair enough. But isn’t saying that people only vote for Palin because she is “hot” like saying that people only vote for Obama because he’s black?

And again – isn’t the presidential race between McCain/Obama?

  8. Well, it’s a conspiracy theory made obsolete by the daughter’s current pregnancy – unless that’s a conspiracy as well.

If the sources are correct, this is Bristol’s second pregnancy. There’s a gap between both pregnancies that don’t defy science.

Some people think that Obama’s close association with Ayers is troubling. Even more so since Obama refuses to address or distance himself from that association. The alleged point of this blog is to look at anti-Americanism – and Ayers is about as anti-American as you can get in my (and many other voter’s) estimation.

ET, I’ve been blogging since 2004. Over 70% of this blog focuses on my beef with the right and left wing regarding extremism and looney politics. I stopped blogging for 2 years and decided to keep this blog and change the theme to be against AA (anti-Americanism). But now with the election and how important it is for me, I cannot resist getting into bunches over what is going on. And I cannot resist my commentaries on it as well. As noted in my about me and in my disclaimer, I bash mercilessly the far right and left – the far left being Anti-Americans. (If you want a quick laugh, just read this post. Everything falls into my theme, but I do also cover other news like crime news and etc every once in a while.

Now, as far a Ayers – he is just one of millions of our homegrown Anti-Americans. I don’t approve of him in any way shape or form just because I am voting for Obama. Let’s not get the two jumbled. Obama still has yet to prove himself a Muslim Anti-American terrorist who wants to destroy America. I just don’t see that based on the facts.

But isn’t saying that people only vote for Palin because she is “hot” like saying that people only vote for Obama because he’s black?

    Yes.

And again – isn’t the presidential race between McCain/Obama?

Noooooooooooooo! ET Nooooo! It’s Palin v. Obama, my friend. Haven’t you been paying attention? Ok, seriously. This last eight years was run mostly by the Cheney administration – especially looking at the Iraqi war. A vice president could actually be president-like both in reality and virtually behind the scenes more powerfully. I honestly don’t see this is as Obama v McCain at all.

If you have the time, you’ll see what I mean if you read this post.
