Yes, it could be, but if those two were as innocent as they’re trying to look to be, there wouldn’t be any gotcha moments.
See, this is the issue I have with political discourse in general. Is it gotcha journalism – sure, but fair enough. It would just be nice if there was some attempt at a gotcha in the other direction once in a while. The fact that this “hard hitting” journalism is only ever directed at one party lets you know how much in the tank for Obama things really are. Aren’t you at least a LITTLE bit uncomfortable having the media decide what constitutes newsworthy events with respect to Obama? Ayers, Rezko, FreddiMae – I suspect there’s more than a few gotchas in there. But we’ll never get to see them.
Oh sure, the media can make a “gotcha” easily on both sides. I know Obama is no puritan. Hey, at least Bill O’Reilly got a chance at interviewing him! And I did hear of all the screw ups made by Biden as well which was announced by our media. But Palin is the center of attention because she’s consistently being caught doing all sorts of things. She reminds me of the constant developments in the Scott Peterson murder case of many years ago. She is very controversial, but sadly she doesn’t own up to what she gets caught doing and saying.
I think this is the reason why most talk-radio in the US is conservative. Our media, outside Fox News, is Liberal leaning. So, the conservatives do their best to counteract it all.
