I think you&#039;ve effectively made the case that the issue with obesity is in no way an exclusively American phenomenon, but rather a global one. The only nit I would pick is that statistically the largest reason for obesity is still going to fall into the &quot;too much cheap food in your face all the time and no exercise&quot; category. I don&#039;t disagree that addiction and leptin and genetic issues aren&#039;t in play. They are there. I&#039;m just saying that if you look at the root cause of obesity, that you&#039;ll find those are at the lower end of the statistical curve.</description>
