Good work. I think you've effectively made the case that the issue with obesity is in no way an exclusively American phenomenon, but rather a global one. The only nit I would pick is that statistically the largest reason for obesity is still going to fall into the "too much cheap food in your face all the time and no exercise" category. I don't disagree that addiction and leptin and genetic issues aren't in play. They are there. I'm just saying that if you look at the root cause of obesity, that you'll find those are at the lower end of the statistical curve. Very nice article.
