Good grief! I was just doing some surfing on one of those blog trafficking sites when I came across this post from Glen at The Half Asleeps The Wide Awakes.
Read the post. I submitted a rebuttal that hasn’t shown up yet. I won’t count my chickens before they’re hatched, so I will reserve judgment on that for later. In the meantime, I thought I’d put my rebuttal here.

Liberals changed this country? Excuse me, but isn’t President Bush in charge of this country. This entire country is run by Republicans. Even the Dems in office are Republican-like. Why are you blaming Bush’s mistakes on the Libs?
Redistributing the wealth? Excuse me? I have a full time job and am making a pretty decent amount of money. I am a Lib. Do you not realize that MY TAX DOLLARS ARE FEEDING THE POOR TOO?
Are you implying that it is just the Republicans that work, and that Libs just sit on their asses all day collecting money from your salaries? You’ve got to be kidding me.
What about the Illegal Aliens freeloading off us the U.S? You guys never complain about that. You continue displacing all your anger on the Libs and not the big guy in charge here. Illegals come here getting free education, driver licenses, mortgage loans, reduced apartment rent, no deportation for crimes committed, no checking on their immigration status because that would be politically incorrect, they get welfare, food stamps while they procreate like rabbits. Bush is not doing ANYTHING about this problem, and he’s pissing of the Minutemen by calling them vigilantes. Our security as well is in jeopardy while the towel heads from Al Queda are following behind the illegal aliens through our borders. And you Republicans say that “We’re fighting the war in terror”. The hell we are!
This is not a communist country. It’s capitalistic. If you feel you and your children aren’t getting enough food in your mouths, then it’s your responsibility to work harder, and (2) to complain to your congressman to stop welfare, food stamps, health insurance, and social security.
Sir, that’s where most of your taxes are going to. And you have the nerve to blame another tax payer like me??? Do you not realize that my taxes are supporting the war in Iraq and organizations like FEMA? But you blame me??? Even though I’m working my ass off to support even YOUR causes???

If you read this news article, it shows that most of the Red States are more obese than the rest of the country. So, it appears to me that Glen’s children are hardly starving.
don’t hold your breath waiting for your rebuttal to appear on their site… like most of the hypnotized faithful, they only air what they want… comments are often edited, deleted or simply ignored… many similar sites don’t allow comments at all… and why should they…? they’re only following their role model, our president, who is proud of the fact that he doesn’t read, he doesn’t pay attention to polls, he doesn’t watch tv news… he only listens to those who think exactly like he does…
Me thinks that I may have said something that made a little too much sense for them on their blog, and I’ve been banned as a result of it.

I have a fun game for you to play with the Wide Mistakes or Cao’s blog. Play “Six Degrees of Separation” and I can almost guarantee you that you will eventually run into a site with a swastika or hate speech on it.
Republicans/Conservatives really make me laugh. They blame everything on Democrats/Liberals and the poor. They think all welfare, food stamps, and medicaid should be completely cut, instead of reformed, they think abortion is wrong, but the death penalty is perfectly ok. We are currently fighting a war in Iraq over lies, but yet they defend it and think that the libs that are calling for impeachment are “loonies”. The Republicans are responsible for the increasing deficit, but they blame the libs…it cracks me up.
I might not have my daily laugh if it weren’t for them.
